Licensed Veterinary Technician

Jennifer

Jennifer has been working as a veterinary technician at Clark Animal Care since 1998. She has been a licensed tech for the last 20 years, having graduated from Canton Agriculture/Technical College in 1986. Her position here is an "animal nurse” where she monitors anesthesia, runs lab work, does radiology, performs client education, prepares for surgical procedures, monitors patients that need intensive care, and all the other basic animal nursing duties. What she likes best about the position is the interaction with clients and educating them about their pets, and of course, she enjoys working with the animals. Jennifer must like it here, as she drives 50 miles to get to work! Jennifer grew up in Pulaski, New York. Her mom was a home economics teacher, her dad a well driller. She has an older brother and many nieces and nephews. Her 4 footed family consists of 4 cats and crazy lab named Brooks. She has many more pets that are still cherished in her heart. Outside of enjoying animals, Jennifer pursues various outdoor activities - skiing (downhill and cross-country), kayaking, and camping. She also likes to read, do crafts, and spend time with her husband and family. She is also an active member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).
