As many of you know, the pandemic has created an unprecedented demand for veterinary services and we are working our hardest to accommodate this increased demand. Every day we have had to turn away patients who need our services because there is no room left in our schedule. We have stopped accepting new clients in an attempt to better accommodate our current ones.
We understand inadvertently missing appointments can sometimes happen. However, we must consider how these missed appointments can impact the ability of other clients to be seen.
We provide text and email reminders to help. If we don’t have your current cell phone number or e-mail, please contact us with that information.
Please cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance by calling 585-377-1160 or e-mailing us at [email protected].
Calling to cancel within a few hours of the appointment will be considered a missed appointment.
Effective immediately, all missed appointments will result in a no show fee of $55.00. A second missed appointment will result in a $110.00 fee. We will send out an invoice via mail for these fees. Regrettably, we can no longer provide veterinary care to clients who have 3 missed appointments.
We understand everyone has emergencies that necessitate missing appointments. However, there has been a tremendous increase in missed appointments recently, necessitating this new policy. Our goal is to accommodate all patients, but a pattern of recurrent missed visits prevents others from seeing their veterinarian in a timely manner.
