Many pet owners can hide their pet's medication in food.  This is especially true for dogs.  You can hide tablets or capsules in 'meatballs' of food.  Canned pet food, soft cheeses like american or cream cheese, baby hot dogs, bread, peanut butter, meat flavored baby foods, etc., can all be used to try and conceal your pet's medication.  Initially, give a few 'meatballs' without the hidden medication so your pet won't be so suspecious when offered the 'medicated meatball'.  Alternatively, many pet owners successfully hide their dog and cat medication in Pill Pockets® sold at veterinary hospitals.  For those pet owners who cannot conceal their pet's medication in food or Pill Pockets® use the links below which explain how to medicate your dog or cat.
